With great pleasure we can tell that the changes and reorganization of our project did lead to renewed inspiration and new steps. Ten years reforestation has led to a great expertise on what and how can be planted in the Bahia Salinas climat where heat, rain and wind are more extreme than anywhere else in Costa Rica. Our expertise has led to a number of planting and maintenance jobs in the bay. Oscar's expertise and trees from our nursery where used on the day of the tree: 'el Dia del Arbol ', organized by the bilingual Collegio in la Cruz.

A new project has started; a course in handycrafts. Marianne started a womens group, to teach crafts and art and help the women sell their works.

An other project in line with the womens project is helping local artisans to make things that people like and help them to sell . We just started, but already it is amazing what talents emerge from unexpected places.

The organic farm Aurelia made a good start. 9 bulls and 6 cows are now grazing freely on the hill in la Garita and 120 chickens are laying 2000 eggs.
